Research Abstract |
This study established the social niche construction model of human sociality and demonstrated its efficacy and validity through a series of experimental studies. The findings from those experiments proved that cultural differences in human cognition and behavior that have been studied by cultural and cross-cultural psychologists from the point of view of self-construal can be analyzed as a means of adaptation to the social niche (that is, a stable incentive structure consisting of people’s responses to the social niche itself).
