Research Abstract

本研究は、人間集団の根幹を成す「社会規範」の問題を中心に、(1)人の認知・感情特性の仕組みを適応的な視点から検討し、(2)領域全体のテーマである実験社会科学の確立に向けて、その堅固な基盤となり得る人間モデルを提供することを目的とする。近年、人間の社会行動に関する研究は、社会科学内での検討に留まらず、行動生態学・進化生物学・神経科学を初めとする、ヒトを対象とした自然科学領域との間に、急速な学問的連携を作りつつある。本研究は、社会規範の形成と維持、互恵性を支えるメカニズムなど、社会科学の根本を成す問題群に、ゲーム理論を軸とする数理モデルと行動・生理実験を組み合わせることでアプローチし、規範に代表される社会秩序や、集団行動を支えている認知・感情特性群の働きを明らかにしていく。
