Research Abstract

放射光軟X線を用いた磁気円二色性(XMCD)測定により,元素ごとの磁性,強磁性・常磁性・反強磁性成分に関与する原子の価数・結晶場を明らかにする,また,軟X線共鳴散乱の測定により,特定の元素・価数・結晶場・磁性をもつ遷移金属原子の空間分布,伝導電子の空間分布を逆格子空間で調べる.XMCD測定は高エネルギー加速器研究機構Photon Facotry (KEK-PF)とSPring-8で行う.軟X線共鳴散乱の装置開発と測定はPFで行う.研究対象は次の通りである:
(1) 化学組成・キャリアー数を制御した磁性半導体,高温強磁性が報告されている半導体のXMCDによるキャラクタリゼーション.
(2) 界面・超構造の磁性の,XMCDを用いたキャラクタリゼーション.
(3) ホイスラー合金を中心とした金属系高スピン偏極材料の元素選択的XMCD.
(4) 軟X共鳴散乱を用いた半導体・合金系高スピン偏極材料中の不均一な元素・価数・磁化・キャリアー分布の研究,界面・超構造における元素・価数・磁化・キャリアー分布の研究.
