Research Abstract |
Spin pumping effect and inverse spin Hall effect are studied theoretically. It is found that the pumping of spin current and its conversion into electriccurrent are understood clearly in terms of an effective electromagnetic field for electron spin. The effective field was shown to contain new monopole (spin damping monopole), which plays an essential role in spin-charge conversion.
