Research Abstract

半導体粒子を金属粒子と複合化させると、金属粒子の表面プラズモン励起による光電場増強場によって、半導体光触媒反応が高効率で進行すると予想されるが、これら粒子を直接結合させた系では半導体から金属粒子への光誘起電荷移動が並行して進行するために、明確な証拠は未だ得られていない。本研究では、半導体ナノ粒子あるいはこの粒子を内部に持つ中空シェル粒子(ジングルベル型構造体)を金属粒子と結合させた複合体を作製し、その精密構造制御法を確立する。さらにこの複合体粒子のナノ構造が、半導体ナノ粒子の本来持つ光化学特性や光触媒活性に及ぼす影響を解明し、光-分子強結合反応場の構築を目指す。
