Research Abstract

ナノメートルスケールでの顕著な量子効果は、今世紀の新物質開発・新デバイス設計の鍵とされている。本計画研究は、ナノチューブ・フラーレン複合系を含むナノチューブ新物質系に対して、伝導現象の詳細解明研究、密度汎関数法に基づく第一原理電子構造・全エネルギー研究による安定性予言、さらには新機能炭素ナノネットワーク物質の設計研究を展開することにより、ナノエレクトロニクス素材としてのカーボンナノチューブ系に対して定量的かつ総合的な理論研究を推進することを目標とするものである。
