Research Abstract

幹細胞は、しばしば、非対称細胞分裂によって、幹細胞自身を自己複製するとともに分化細胞を生じる.自律的な非対称分裂を行うショウジョウバエ神経幹細胞、および、細胞間相互作用に依存した非対称分裂を行うマウス神経幹細胞をモデル系として、未分化能(細胞増殖能)や分化能を娘細胞に振り分けるメカニズムに取り組み、自律的および非自律的な非対称分裂に共通するメカニズムと特異的なしくみを明らかにする。
