Research Abstract

分泌型ペプチドおよび特異的受容体を介した情報伝達は,多細胞生物の形態形成における細胞間情報伝達に必須のメカニズムであるが、植物ではその研究例は依然として少ない.本研究では,in silico遺伝子スクリーニングによる新規ペプチドホルモン候補遺伝子の探索や分泌型ペプチドミクス,LRR型受容体キナーゼを網羅的に発現した受容体ライブラリの構築などを組み合わせて新たなペプチドホルモンやその受容体を同定する.これらの解析から得られる分子群を基軸として、植物の形態形成を支える新たな情報統御系の発見を目指す.
