Outline of Annual Research Achievements

濱口は、ミューオン異常磁気能率g-2のずれ(Fermi研究所によって報告された実験値と標準模型予言値とのずれ)を説明出来る超対称性模型について、LHC実験など現象論的制限を再解析し、暗黒物質残存量とミューオンg-2を同時説明出来る模型ポイントを同定するなどした。
T. Melia developed the understanding of the effective field theory framework. This included elucidation of a novel theory that can describe the strong interaction of quantum chromodynamics in a region where soft physics dominates, and development of techniques to calculate quantum effects in the application of EFT to high loop orders.
長峯は、宇宙論的流体シミュレーションを用いて、宇宙の物質分布(特にダークマターと中性水素の対比)について詳細に調べた。特にライマンアルファフォーレストを用いてパワースペクトルの制限とバイアスの計算方法について新たな手法を開発した。これらの研究結果は、高赤方偏移宇宙においてダークマターの分布を調べる上で重要な手掛かりとなるものである。
松本は、前年度の研究を進展させつつ、弱電荷を持つ暗黒物質の研究を新しい方向に展開した。弱電荷を持つ熱的暗黒物質として、これまでフェルミオン暗黒物質が主に調べられてきたが、今回は、弱電荷を持つスカラー暗黒物質について、定量的かつ包括的に研究を行った。その結果、フェルミオン暗黒物質の場合との類似がある一方、その探査において暗黒物質の直接探査がより重要な役割を果たすことが明らかにした。

・論文リストや学会発表リストにあるように、代表者・分担者ともに順調に研究業績をあげている。
・2021年8月には、E01計画研究の共同主催により、オンラインでの国際研究会「Asia-Pacific Workshop on Particle Physics and Cosmology 2021 (Aug 2-6, 2021)」を開催した(参加登録196名、公演数67名)。コロナ禍のなか、若手研究者の国際研究会発表や国際研究交流の機会にもなった。
・E01の理論研究者らが行った研究(Phys.Lett.B 815 (2021) 136174: アクシオンの検出器での反跳に関する計算を再評価した研究)がB01の実験研究者らによる研究(Phys.Rev.Lett. 129 (2022) 161805: XENONnTによる低エネルギー電子反跳による新物理探索)に適用されるなど、領域内での連携や理論実験間の連携もあった。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

今後も、本計画研究の目的である
(1)宇宙の物質反物質非対称性の起源およびニュートリノ質量生成機構の解明、
(2)暗黒物質の正体・起源の解明、
(3) (1), (2) を含む新たな素粒子模型・宇宙シナリオの構築、
のため、代表者・分担者・博士研究員によって、インフレーションから物質反物質非対称性の生成、暗黒物質生成、宇宙の構造形成までの研究を進めていく。本計画研究(E01)共催の理論ミニワークショップや、A01,02、B01,02、E02、との合同スクールや研究会合も積極的に開催したい。
