Outline of Annual Research Achievements

濱口はいくつかの暗黒物質模型についての中性子星捕獲率を解析し、中性子星表面温度観測による探索によりこれらの暗黒物質模型を検証することが可能であることを明らかにした。また濱口は、ILC 実験におけるミューオ ン異常磁気能率への超対称性粒子の寄与の再構成に関する研究を行った。
松本は軽い暗黒物質模型において導入される媒介粒子について、その種類(スピン等)により様々な標準模型粒子に崩壊し、それが加速器における探査感度の評価に重要な役割を果たす。可能な崩壊モードをリスト化し、現実的なシミュレーションを行うことで、LHC加速器実験等における探査感度の評価を定量的に行った。
長峯は宇宙論的銀河形成シミュレーションにおける超新星フィードバックモデルをさらに発展させ、初期宇宙における大質量星の効果をより露わに取り入れた。また、EMPRESSプロジェクトにおいては、レプトン非対称性やハッブルテンションとも関連のあるヘリウムの原始組成量を近傍の矮小銀河から測定した。
Melia developed a novel theory of dark matter based on QCD-like theories, and studied the viable parameter space and possible direct detection signals. Developed Hilbert series techniques to analyse electroweak effective field theory, and to renormalize effective field theories at high orders.
柳田は、最近発見されたcosmic birefringence がstring理論由来のelectroweak axionで見事に説明できることを示した。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

今後も、本計画研究の目的である
(1)宇宙の物質反物質非対称性の起源およびニュートリノ質量生成機構の解明、
(2)暗黒物質の正体・起源の解明、
(3) (1), (2) を含む新たな素粒子模型・宇宙シナリオの構築、のため、代表者・分担者・博士研究員によって、インフレーションから物質反物質非対称性の生成、暗黒物質生成、宇宙の構造形成までの研究を進めていく。本計画研究(E01)共催の理論ミニワークショップ(New Physics Forum)の開催も検討する。
