Outline of Annual Research Achievements

これまで、A04班では蓄電固体界面材料の研究を通して、各種の電極材料・電解質の固体界面構造の制御手法を確立し、蓄電固体材料における各種の界面構造の役割の解明、また、得られた知見に基づきさらに高度に制御した電極・電解質材料の複合化も進め、ナノ界面構造に立脚した蓄電固体界面の新機能の発現を実現することを目的として研究活動を行った。その結果、無体積変化の材料の発見に繋がり、当該材料と固体電解質を組み合わせることで低拘束圧の実用的全固体電池の作製が可能となることを明らかにしてきた。
本年度は昨年度までの検討をもとに、さらなる進化を実現すべく、体積変化を生じない2次元構造の負極材料の創製を実現した。これらの成果に加え、さらにA04班の研究成果を統合し、無体積変化バナジウム系正極材料、高イオン伝導度の硫化物系固体電解質、無体積変化2次元構造負極材料を組み合わせた長寿命全固体電池作動の立証に成功した。また、公募班においても新しい原理に基づいた電荷移行錯体系イオン伝導体の材料の発見や、電気二重層やプロトン挿入を利用した磁性を制御可能なデバイスといった新しい多くの研究成果が得られている。このようにグループ内の連携が進むことで、これまでは原理の理解が不十分であった各種の蓄電固体材料に関して学術的な理解が進んだだけでなく、実際に大きな拘束圧を必要としない全固体電池の立証など新たな蓄電固体デバイスの学理創製を実現した。
