Research Abstract

哺乳類では、ゲノム刷込みが雌雄生殖細胞ゲノムの機能差を決定づけているために、雌雄ゲノムが受精により次世代へ伝達されることが個体発生に義務づけられている。本特定領域研究では生殖細胞系列において行われるゲノム刷込み、特にDNAメチル化修飾に着目し、それによる胎盤形成を含む個体発生制御機構の全貌解明に向け実験発生学および分子生物学的なアプローチから追究する。
