Research Abstract

特色ある半導体ナノ物質の動的電子相関にもとづく光学現象を探求し、その活用に向けた道筋をつける研究を行う。時空間分解分光装置の開発を進め、顕微分光と2波長可変ポンププローブ分光、可視および赤外域時間分解発光分光を融合した分光計測システムを活用した動的電子相関の探索研究を行う。その物質固有の特異的な動的電子相関を見つけ出すとともに、物質によらない普遍的な動的電子相関を解明し、学理の構築を進める。特に、ナノ構造のマルチエキシトンダイナミクスの解明を目指す。カーボンナノチューブやナノ粒子などの半導体・ナノ構造を研究対象として、単一分光などの顕微分光を駆使し、その動的電子相関効果の発現・解明を行う。新しい光デバイスの開発の道筋や従来の限界の突破口を見出す。さらに、新しいナノ構造の作製を行い、新しい物性の発現と機能の探索を行う。
