Research Abstract

本研究の目的は(1)格子計算を用いた第一原理計算によってQCDの真空構造とクォーク力学を解明し(2)格子QCD計算にもとづいてハドロンの相互作用を第一原理から計算することで低エネルギー有効理論や核力を精密に決定し(3)原子核理論で記述される階層へつなぐ基礎的な理論情報を提供することである。この目的を達成するため格子QCDの理論と計算手法の研究を推し進め精密な第一原理計算の基本を確立することを目標とする。優れたアルゴリズム(A04班との連携)と大規模な計算資源を用い、より細かい格子、より大きな体積、より精度のよいカイラル極限の計算を実現し格子QCD計算の基礎を確立する。そして有効理論のパラメータの決定や、ハドロン散乱の格子計算を通じて核理論や宇宙物理など重要なインプットを高精度で与えることができる。またこの手法は素粒子のフレーバー物理等、新しい物理を念頭においた研究にも自然に応用が可能で様々な進展が期待できる。
