Research Abstract

分子の組織化により生命にも匹敵するような高度の機能を実現するためのブレークスルーは、いかに対象の物質系に情報を多く組み込むかである。これまでは、分子自体に多くの情報を組み込む研究がなされてきたが、本研究では分子の自己組織化を行う場としてトップダウンで作成したナノ環境を用いてそこからも情報を系に注入することを考えている。この視点で次の研究を行う。
(1)協同現象によらず単一～少数分子でメモリーなどの機能を持つ分子の開発
(2)そうした機能有機分子、金属ナノ粒子・金属ナノロッドなどの無機ナノ構造体、リソグラフィーで作成したナノ構造体の3者からなる系での自己組織化と、その3者で初めて生まれる電気・光機能の探索
(3)有機分子の自己組織体を利用した非ノイマン型情報処理系の研究
