Research Abstract

高次神経機能を支えるには、個々のシナプスにおける情報伝達の微調整が重要となってくる。その微調整機構として神経伝達物質を含むシナプス小胞の輸送や安定したシナプス形成に必要な接着分子等の輸送の制御があると考えられる。本研究では、小胞輸送の代表的な制御系であるRabファミリー低分子量G 蛋白質とその関連蛋白質に注目してこれらの細胞内物流システムの分子基盤を明らかにすることを目的とする。シナプス小胞輸送についてはRab3A 系に、接着分子等の輸送の制御についてはRab13-JRAB/MICAL-L2系に特に焦点をあてて解析を進める。
