Research Abstract

細胞内の各物質輸送経路の統括的解明は,病態の理解に向け非常に重要であるが,現状の細胞生物学は特定のオルガネラや個々の輸送経路に関する研究が主である.また,観察された画像データに対しての解析・解釈は,研究者個人の主観によるところが大きい.それ故,細胞全域での複合的な輸送機構(いわゆる細胞内物流システム)に対して,個人の判断基準によらない観察画像の定量的解析手法の研究・開発が急務である.
本研究では,細胞内物流システム解明のための観察画像を基とした新しいデジタル解析システムの確立に向け,細胞内輸送のための観察装置や画像処理計算法とそのソフトウェアの研究・開発を実施している.
