Research Abstract

本研究では、以下の目標を掲げた。
(1)DNAの物理的性質を糸口にしてクロマチン・染色体の構築機構にメスをいれる。(2)生細胞蛍光イメージングの手法を用いて、DNA物性特異領域の核内(または染色体内)空間配置を可視化し、細胞周期および細胞分化に伴うゲノム折り畳みのダイナミクスを明らかにする。(3)酵母、線虫、ショウジョウバエ、メダカ、マウス、チンパンジーなどのゲノムに関しても機械的特性の解析を行うと共に、一部についてはゲノム折り畳みのダイナミクスを解析する。そして、これらの各研究成果を総合的に分析して、真核生物に共通したゲノム収納の分子基盤を解明する。
