Research Abstract

線虫C.elegansをモデルとした行動遺伝学的解析と神経活動のライブイメージングを組み合わせることにより神経回路における情報処理機構を解明する。
(1)感覚情報の統合と連合学習の制御を担うシグナル伝達系を同定し、それが働く神経回路を明らかにする。
(2)記憶の保持に着目して、記憶の保持時間を制御するメカニズムを明らかにする。
(3)高速共焦点顕微鏡システムを用いて、4D観察による線虫の中枢神経系全体でのイメージングシステムを構築し、情報処理の可視化を行う。
