Research Abstract |
Animals process sensory information in neuronal circuits for proper behavior. In this research, we identified signaling molecules and neurons to regulate sensory integration of cross modal stimuli and, depending on those results, we proposed a neuronal circuit model to regulate the behavioral choice. By analyzing mutants showing the prolonged retention of memory, we found that forgetting is accelerated by neuronal communication.
