Research Abstract

近年,環境中に存在する化学物質が生物に与える影響を定量評価するためのセンサシステムの必要性が指摘されている.これに対して,本研究では,感覚入力に対する応答を行動出力(運動)によって評価することが比較的容易な線虫,げっ歯類(マウス,ラット)および小型魚類(ゼブラフィッシュ,メダカ)を対象とし,生物の神経情報処理メカニズムに学んだ環境センシング技術を創出するための以下5項目を達成目標としている.
(1)化学物質に対する生物行動モデルの構築とシミュレーション
(1)線虫の神経-筋モデルを用いて刺激応答の神経情報処理メカニズムを探る
(2)マウスの嗅神経系モデルと行動実験とによりニオイ識別に有効な選択的注意メカニズムを探る
(2)生物の情報処理メカニズムに基づくバイオミメティック・センサ・システムの開発
(3)線虫の刺激応答メカニズムを応用して移動ロボットの環境適応制御を実現する
(4)マウスのニオイ識別アルゴリズムを実装したニオイセンサシステムを開発する
(5)小型魚類(ゼブラフィッシュ等)を「生きたセンサ」として用いたバイオアッセイ(水質検査装置)システムを開発する
