Research Abstract

活性酸素生成酵素NADPHオキシダーゼ(Nox)は、活性酸素シグナルの形成において重要な役割を果たすと考えられている。本研究は、Noxファミリー(Nox1~Nox5)の活性化制御機構の時間的空間的な全体像を解明するものである。特に、「Nox活性化タンパク質の作用機構」に関する研究をさらに押し進めるとともに、「Nox活性化タンパク質の結合によりNoxに何が起こり、電子伝達がどのようになされ、活性酸素生成に至るのか」また「Noxが細胞内のどこに局在するのか、その局在はどのように変化するのか」という問題に焦点をあてる。
