Outline of Annual Research Achievements

太陽系も他の惑星系と同様,分子雲の収縮による原始星の形成から始まり,原始惑星系円盤の中で多様な惑星が誕生した.本研究では,太陽系をつくった分子雲や惑星系形成領域の化学環境が,観測される分子雲や原始惑星系の化学的多様性とどのように関連するのかを明らかにすることを目的とする.リュウグウサンプル分析の成果について,国際誌に多数の論文発表をおこなった.これらの成果には,リュウグウ有機物中での核酸塩基ウラシルやビタミンB3であるニコチン酸の発見,分子雲での低温化学反応の結果としてつくられたと考えられる炭素同位体組成の特徴をもつ多環式芳香族炭化水素の発見,可溶性有機分子群にマグネシウム含有分子が見つからなかったことから水質変成が比較的低温であったこと,固体有機物内の原子結合状態から熱変成の程度が低かったこと,一方でリュウグウ試料中で鉱物と有機物が母天体での水質変成作用中に相互作用して,共進化したこと,現在のリュウグウ表面にも外側太陽系から窒素に富んだ微粒子が供給されていること,などが含まれる.2023年9月には NASA OSIRIS-REx 探査機が地球に届けた B型小惑星ベヌーからのサンプルの分析も開始し,H2O 量や炭素量,可溶性有機分子(生命前駆分子を含む)の分析を開始した.小惑星ベヌーサンプル分析成果に関して,2024年2月に国際シンポジウム Solar System symposium in Sapporo 2024 を開催し,世界に先駆けて,議論した.
