| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本研究課題は、睡眠覚醒サイクルにおけるグリア細胞の役割を明らかにするものである。その中で、グリア細胞の全脳イメージング技術の開発、学術変革の他のチームへの透明化技術の支援、共同研究を行った。マイクログリア、アストロサイト、オリゴデンドロサイトに対する抗体染色のプロトコール作成や、全脳イメージング技術で取得したデータの画像解析を行った。その成果を海外学会での発表や査読論文として発表している。

予定していたイメージング技術の開発を概ね終え、データ解析を行なっている点、また学会発表や論文の発表という成果も残している点で概ね順調に進んでいると言える。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
抗体染色は抗体のロットや、メーカーへの依存性が強いため今後はin situ hybridization法の開発を行なっていく。グリア細胞で発現しているような細胞内シグナル分子もイメージングできることでグリア細胞の機能についても可視化することが可能になることが期待される。
