Research Abstract |
This project researched and developed the detector for future high intensity experiments. Especially, we have developed new particle identification devices, named "TOP counter" and "Aerogel RICH", for high intensity B-factory. For photon detector of the TOP counter, the photo-cathode lifetime has been successfully improved by changing the material. We have also developed a TOP counter prototype and test with beam, then confirmed the performance. For the aerogel RICH, we have improved the radiation hardness by changing photo-diode part. We have also improved the size and transmittance of areogel radiator. We produced the standard data link system between the frontend and backend, and confirmed the high speed data transfer.
