Research Abstract |
In society of human-robot symbiosis, the dialog processing for human-robot communication and the decision making methods for suitable robot action are needed. (1) A statistical modeling technique, POMDP (Partially Observable Markov Decision Processes) technique, was applied to non-task-oriented dialogue like chat and its potency was demonstrated. (2) Toward promoting human cooperative learning by robot's intervention, the effect of robots on communication activation in thought-evoking multi-party dialogue was demonstrated. (3) Automatic re-voice in cooperative learning (repeating key-words spoken by learners) was tried, and partially realized by agent robots (computer).
