Research Abstract |
1) The study confirmed that indicators of social relations, both at the levels of individual and community, had the significant impact on individual health and health behaviors. 2) The study also has brought a certain conclusion as to factors mediating between area level or individual level indicators of social relations and individual level of health. 3) It indicated that social relations both at the community and individual levels may reduce a difference between the social classes affecting the health. 4) It was suggested that community-based activities contributed to strengthening social solidarity among the residents, but this phenomenon was observed only in limited areas or among a certain population group.
