Research Abstract |
The purposes of the preset study are follows:(1)examining health disparity by social stratification:(2)elucidating the influence of social capital and social security system on health. We have analyzed the data from J-SHINE and J-HOPE, multipurpose shared panel survey, provided by the A01 team. Furthermore, we also conducted mail survey, named "Citizen survey on health and work",targeting young workers aged from 25 to 39 years old in two places:one is in Fukuoka City in 2011,and another in Sendai City in 2012.Using the data from "Citizen survey on health and work", we revealed that strain mediated working long time and occupational stress among regular employees, and that health conditions among precarious employees were negatively affected not only by their poor working conditions, but also by the stigma of being labeled "non-regular".
