Outline of Annual Research Achievements

有用な生理活性物質や機能性化合物を効率良く合成するために,優れた不斉触媒の開発は,現在の有機合成化学における最も重要な問題の一つである。我々は,( R )-ビナフトール由来のキラルリン酸が優れたキラルブレンステッド酸触媒として機能する事を見出した。近年,キラルブレンステッド酸触媒は,大きな注目を集めており,世界中の多くの研究者が不斉触媒反応を報告している。しかし,本触媒の置換基効果,不斉発現の機構等については,未だ明らかでない事が多いのが現状である。本研究では。キラルリン酸の適用範囲の拡大,不斉触媒の発現の機構の解明,並びに新たなキラルブレンステッド酸触媒の開発を目指している。平成26年度の研究では,(1)ベンゾチアゾリンを水素供与体として用いたイミンの不斉還元反応において,プロピオフェノン由来のケトイミンにおいて,ベンゾチアゾリンがHantzschエステルよりも優れた水素供与体として機能する事を明らかにした。また,(2) インドールとニトロアルケンとのFriedel-Craftsアルキル化反応による第四級炭素の構築にも成功した。更に,(3) 不斉フッ素化反応も見出す事ができた。

キラルリン酸をキラルブレンステッド酸触媒として用いた,新たな優れた不斉合成反応を見出しつつある。特に,ベンゾチアゾリンを用いた不斉還元反応において,高い一般性を見出す事ができた。更に,比較的構築の困難な第四級炭素骨格の構築にも成功している。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

キラルリン酸をキラルブレンステッド酸触媒として用いた不斉合成反応の更なる展開を強力に推進する。特に,より利用価値の高い合成反応の開発に注力する。
