Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The application of the plasma into medical field is thought to be greatly useful, but the mechanism of plasma irradiation is still unclear. In our study, we performed cultured cell experiments and proved that hydrogen peroxide and nitrogen oxide played important roles of cell death. The spread of the clinical applicability of plasma is expected. So, we established a mouse animal and a pig model to investigate the influence of plasma irradiation equipment, especially focusing on adhesion formation and inflammation.
