| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
水・土砂移動に伴う放射性物質の移行過程の理解のために，汚染度の異なる3地域において， 植生・土壌から地下水・河川・生態系へと，放射性核種の観測, 将来予測を行った。具体的には、
1）放射性核種の環境への移行をモデル化 2) 地下水，湧水への移行状況調査 3）河川における放射性核種の移行調査 4）事故発生時の地表面状態を把握すると共に，放射性物質がどの程度, 河川・湖沼・海へ流出していくか調査およびモデル化 5）河川・湖沼において, 水・有機物より藻類・バクテリア等に移行する状況を調査し, 河川生物への放射性核種移行について調査するとともに, 将来予測 6）I-129, Cl-36等の微量核種について，環境トレーサーとしての可能性
である。
また、既存のプロジェクトでの調査地域に加え，新たに栃木県に中程度汚染地域の試験流域を設定した。そこにおいて，水・土砂移動に伴う放射性物質の移行過程の観測を行った。
一方で，阿武隈川流域において，既存試料の収集，濁水の採取，湖底の堆積物の採取を行った。得られた試料は，ゲルマニウム検出器において測定を行った。

Reason
1)放射性核種の環境への移行をモデル化 2)地下水，湧水への移行状況調査 3)河川における放射性核種の移行調査 4)事故発生時の地表面状態を把握すると共に，放射性物質がどの程度, 河川・湖沼・海へ流出していくか調査およびモデル化 5)河川・湖沼において, 水・有機物より藻類・バクテリア等に移行する状況を調査し、河川生物への放射性核種移行について調査するとともに、将来予測を行う。 6)I-129, Cl-36等の微量核種について，環境トレーサーとしての利用
当初研究目的および実施計画として挙げた上記6項目を概ね達成することができた。

観測を継続するとともに，水土砂移動に関するモデルを構築する。また，新たに筑波大学で完成予定のAMSを用い, 微量核種のI-129, Cl-36の分布および環境への移行について調査を開始する。得られた結果は，各班で議論を行い，必要な観測項目の再検討や，モデルや検証方法の課題と対策の検討を行うとともに，新たな観測に生かす。
