| Research Abstract |
水・土砂移動に伴う放射性物質の移行過程の理解のために，汚染度の異なる3地域において， 植生・土壌から地下水・河川・生態系へと，放射性核種の移行状況の継続的な観測調査を行った。また、水・土砂移動に関するモデル化を行った。具体的には、
1）陸域環境中（森林、河川、水田・農地等）での放射性核種の移行状況の観測と、土壌侵食モデルによる土砂移動に起因する放射性セシウム移行の将来予測・2) 地下水・湧水への放射性セシウムの移行調査・3）河川を通じた放射性核種の移行調査とモデル化
4）事故発生時の地表面状態を把握すると共に，放射性物質の河川・湖沼・海への流出量の観測調査とモデル化・5）河川・湖沼において, 水・有機物より藻類・バクテリア等に移行する状況を調査し, 河川生物への放射性核種の移行調査及び将来予測・6）I-129, Cl-36等の微量核種について，環境トレーサーとしての可能性の調査
汚染度が異なる3地域において、水・土砂移動に伴う放射性物質の移行過程の観測を実施した。また、阿武隈川流域において，平水時及び出水時の浮遊砂及び濁水の採取，湖底の堆積物の採取を行った。得られた試料は，ゲルマニウム半導体ガンマ線検出器を用いて放射性セシウム濃度の測定を行った。様々な土地利用からの流出土砂、河川を流下する浮遊砂等の放射性セシウム濃度について、本年度の調査結果を加えることにより今後の時間変化傾向を予測し長期予測モデルへのインプットとした。I-129及びCl-36等の微量核種の測定環境として、筑波大学に６MVタンデム加速器質量分析装置の搬入が完了した。

Reason
1)放射性核種の環境への移行をモデル化 2)地下水，湧水への移行状況調査 3)河川における放射性核種の移行調査 4)事故発生時の地表面状態を把握すると共に，放射性物質がどの程度, 河川・湖沼・海へ流出していくか調査およびモデル化 5)河川・湖沼において, 水・有機物より藻類・バクテリア等に移行する状況を調査し、河川生物への放射性核種移行について調査するとともに、将来予測を行う。 6)I-129, Cl-36等の微量核種について，環境トレーサーとしての利用当初研究目的および実施計画として挙げた上記6項目を概ね達成することができた。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
水・土砂移動に伴う放射性物質の移行状況の観測を継続するとともに，土壌侵食による放射性物質の移行モデル及び河川を通じた放射性核種の移行モデルを構築する。また，筑波大学に搬入された加速器（AMS）の立ち上げを行い、微量核種のI-129、Cl-36の測定を開始する。得られた結果は，各班で議論を行い，必要な観測項目の再検討や，モデルや検証方法の課題と対策の検討を行うとともに，新たな観測に生かす。
