| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本計画研究は，胎児期から乳児期までの連続的発達シミュレーションを構築し，環境条件を変化させつつ実験することで，発達の基本原理と発達障害のメカニズムを構成論的に解明する．これに基づき，発達障害の包括的診断法，支援法・支援技術の構築にも取り組む．
本年度は，発達シミュレーション実験をさらに進め，前年度の2条件（早産と満期産に対応）での感覚運動学習実験を経た2個の脳モデルについて，同一条件でさらに視覚と体性感覚の統合学習を行った結果，早産条件脳が満期産条件脳に比べて明らかに複数感覚統合学習能が低いことを示した．複数感覚統合は，「まとめあげ」過程や認知の基盤として非常に重要である．
身体性から社会認知基盤に至る発達に関して，身体を通した感覚運動予測学習により自己主体感を獲得するニューラルモデルを構築し，実験を行った．その結果，予測誤差に基づいて自己接触と他者接触の区別が可能なことを示した．
臨床データとの定量比較・検証に関しては，B01班より提供された初期胎児運動データの定量的解析を行い，シミュレーションの胎児運動との比較を行った．胎児の超音波画像は極めて不明瞭で，サンプリング周波数も低いため，特に腕の姿勢に着目して解析を行った．この結果，11週ころから，頻繁に両側同時の腕の伸展が見られることが明らかになった．この運動に続いて脚の両側同時キッキングも高頻度で見られることから，11週から18週に見られる伸展傾向は，四肢の不規則な運動として特徴付けられるジェネラルムーブメントとは異なる運動であることがわかった．これは当初計画にはなかった重要な新知見である．
