Outline of Annual Research Achievements

１．オートファジーが、想起に伴う恐怖記憶の脆弱化に重要な働きをしていることを明らかにした。論文をまとめて投稿した。
２．記憶エングラムと再固定化：　タンパク質合成阻害剤とTat-Beclinを組み合わせて扁桃体に注入することで完全な逆行性健忘を引き起こすことができる系を用いて、再固定化の阻害による逆行性健忘が記憶エングラムの消失によることを明らかにした。
３．海馬依存的な学習課題を用いて、繰り返しLTP誘導による海馬神経回路の飽和状態が、神経新生の亢進により早く回復することを明らかにした。現在、投稿論文作成中である。

研究項目1,3においては、当初の予定より早く研究が進み、それぞれ論文を投稿済み、および作成中である。そのために、全体としての達成度は当初の計画以上に進展しているとした。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

研究項目2の記憶エングラムと再固定化の研究テーマに研究資源を集中する。逆行性健忘が記憶エングラムの消失によるという発見を基にして、記憶の物理的実体を明らかにする。
