Outline of Annual Research Achievements

柳田は、右巻きニュートリノの超対称性の相棒であるボソンを使うインフレーション模型の構築に成功した。またこの模型では右巻きニュートリノの数は2であるが、その場合ニュートリノ振動で見られるCPを破る位相が極めて大きくなることを発見した。
末松は、ニュートリノ質量生成に関与するインフラトンの崩壊に基づく非熱的レプトジェネシスの可能性を探り、必要とされるバリオン数生成を実現する模型を提案した。
松本はO(1)GeV程度の質量を持つ'Light WIMP'を、特定の素粒子模型に依らない手法で包括的に調べ、その検出において、直接探査等がどのような役割を果し得るのかを定量的に明らかにした。
浜口、中山は標準模型の理論的問題である、世代間階層性および強いCP問題を同時に解くフラクシオン模型を提案した。さらにこの模型では暗黒物質、バリオン非対称性、ニュートリノ質量、インフレーションといった標準模型を超えた物理が必要とされる現象も同時に説明できる。
また浜口、中山はアフレック・ダインレプトン数生成機構の研究を行った。この機構は超対称性理論における有力なバリオン数生成機構の一つであるが、ニュートリノ質量が不自然に軽くなりすぎ ることが問題であった。浜口、中山は IBS-CTPUのBae氏(本科研費で博士研究員として雇用後に栄転)らとともに、ニュートリノ質量 が Peccei-Quinn 場の値によって与えられる模型におけるアフレック・ダインレプトン数生成機構を解析し、この場合ニュートリノ質量が自然な値に収まることを示した。

Reason

本理論研究計画では、(1) 小さいニュートリノ質量、(2) 宇宙のバリオン数非対称性、(3) 宇宙の暗黒物質の3つの現象を素粒子の標 準理論を超える理論の重要なヒントであると考える。現在まで、研究代表者、研究分担者、みな順調に研究を進めており、査読付論文を数多く発表し、国内外の研究会で成果発表を行っている。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

引き続き代表者・分担者・連携者が有機的な共同研究のネットワークを構築し、効率よく研究を遂行する。また各素粒子模型・宇宙シナリオに基づいてA班のマヨラナ性検証実験やB班の暗黒物質探索実験に対する予言を行う。
