Outline of Annual Research Achievements

Axionは極めて興味深い暗黒物質の候補である。これはAxionがQCDに存在している深刻な問題であるCPの破れの問題を解決するからである。このAxionの存在はglobal U(1)対称性に基づいている。しかし、一般にglobal対称性は量子重力効果によって破れてしまうと考えられている。柳田は、この問題を解決できるAxion模型を構築した。
末松は、輻射シーソー模型にPeccei-Quinn対称性を導入することにより、strong CP問題、ニュートリノ質量、暗黒物質、バリオン数生成を同時に説明する模型を提案した。
松本は軽い質量を持つWIMPに関して引き続き研究を行い、地下実験における直接探査とBelle II等の高輝度加速実験との相補性や競合性について定量的に明らかにした。
中山は、昨年度、超対称性理論において右巻きスカラーニュートリノをインフラトンと同定する模型を提案したが、その模型のパラメータを詳細に解析しニュートリノのCP位相を予言した。
浜口、中山は、超対称性理論において、グラビティーノがアクシーノに崩壊する暗黒物質模型を提案し、ハッブル定数の観測値のずれを説明する可能性があることを示した。

Reason

本理論研究計画では、(1) 小さいニュートリノ質量、(2) 宇宙のバリオン数非対称性、(3) 宇宙の暗黒物質の3つの現象を素粒子の標準理論を超える理論の重要なヒントであると考える。研究代表者および研究分担者は順調に研究を進めており、査読付論文を数多く発表し、国内外の研究会で成果発表を行って いる。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

引き続き代表者・分担者・連携者が有機的な共同研究のネットワークを構築し、効率よく研究を遂行する。また各素粒子模型・宇宙シナリオに基づいてA班のマヨラナ性検証実験やB班の暗黒物質探索実験に対する予言を行う。
