Outline of Annual Research Achievements

(1)糸魚川ー静岡構造線、新潟および山陰の歪み集中帯、奥羽脊梁山脈などに稠密なGNSS観測網を設置し、連続観測を開始するとともに、糸魚川ー静岡構造線断層帯北部および新潟の歪み集中帯ではGNSSのキャンペーン観測を実施した。跡津川断層周辺では、干渉合成開口レーダー画像をスタックした結果をGNSS観測による速度データで補正することにより、地殻変動パターンの検出を試みた。糸魚川ー静岡構造線北部断層帯最北部の神城断層で2014年に発生した長野県北部地震の地震時変動を地震発生前後に実施したキャンペーンGNSS観測から検出した。
(2)東北地方南部を福島から新潟で東西に横切る測線に沿って、隆起熱史を解析するための野外調査を実施し、年代測定を行った。
(3)日本海東縁歪み集中帯における歪み速度の時空間的な変化の詳細を明らかにするため、野外調査を実施した。褶曲変形域の褶曲軸と地形の相対位置関係から変形開始時期の違いを見出す方法を新潟および秋田地域のデータに適用し、活断層の活動開始時期が海側から陸側へと移動している傾向を見出した。
(4)日本海東縁歪み集中帯の地殻内のコーダQ分布を推定するため、地震波形解析を進めた。濃尾断層帯では、S波スプリッティング解析を実施し、地殻歪み速度とスプリッティングによる時間遅れとの間に正の相関を見出した。
(5)沈み込み帯における定常的なプレート沈み込みに対する島弧地殻変形に関して理論的な考察を行った。

2016年度は、各研究分担者毎に各専門分野、対象地域におけるデータ取得・解析を進める。新学術領域研究の全体集会において情報交換と議論を行い、年度後半では歪み速度に関する研究集会を開催する。
