Research Abstract |
It is the purpose of this study to make clear what kinds of diversities of the family lifestyles grow out in progressing of the information-oriented society, regarding the results of the sociological studies on the family changes till now. the general hypothesis of our study is that in the information-oriented society, the relations between individuals and families become diversified. Then, various lifestyles of the family and its sub-culture become developed. The typical pattern of the family changes from the uniformed model of nuclear family to the various family models. During two years study, at the first year we made a research in order to make clear the existence of diversities among the nuclear families, so called "the standard family" which is constructed by a couple and their unmarried child. Concretely speaking, We researched 1000 couples who live in kobe by mailing the questionnaire. And the second year, we analyzed its data. The results of this analysis is written on the Separate Report of Research Project. At the second year, we also made the second research as an intensive study, in order to make clear the diversities of "the nonstandard families" which are non-registered marriage family, one-parent family etc. who live in Kansai area and Tokyo area. The research data of the nonstandard families is now analyzing. The research contents of each research are (1) life career of objects, (2) lifestyle consisted of life-time, space, resources, goals, (3) support system and the state of its application, (4) relation with outer systems, (5) situation of choice of lifestyles under development of the information-oriented society so on.
