Research Abstract	1.実解析学の研究では、1次元および多次元のユ-クリッド空間・その連結部分集合上、あるいはある種の多様体の上の調和解析を研究した。研究グル-プの大半は、平成元年11月に一橋大学で開かれた実解析セミナ-に参加し、直接の意見交換を行った。 2.函数空間論の研究では、物理系等の非可逆現象の解明などに必要な非可換系のエントロピ-理論の数学的定式化を行い、更に一般量子系について、いくつかのフラクタル次元および量子εエントロピ-を導入し、それの具体的な力学系への応用を議論した。 3.表現論と調和解析の研究では、半単純群の表現論をはじめ、半単純対称空間、Lie super algebra,無限次元群、kac-Moody環等の表現論、D加群の研究、量子群の表現論など、ますます広く他分野とも関連しながら研究が深められ、シンポジウム等でその成果が報告された。 4.函数解析学と偏微分方程式の研究では、半線型放物型方程式の解の爆発について、非線型項の解に関する増大度が、領域の点について一様でなくても、初期値が大きければ解が有限時間で爆発することを示した。またその協力者等は、一般化された平均曲率の流れを表す退化した非線型放物型方程式の、粘性解の初期値問題について、大域解の存在と一意性を示した。 5.作用素環と函数環の研究ではC^*-力学系の研究および量子群の研究が行われた。AFDII_1型因子環上の実数群の分類に新しい発展があった。また、指数理論をふまえた上で因子環における2つの部分因子環の相対位置・関係についての考察がすすめられた。
