Research Abstract	1.6mVLBIアンテナの完成と国内・国際観測の実施電波による位置天文学研究推進の一環として進めてきた6mアンテナのVLBI用への改造並びに駆動系・受信機系・伝送系の開発、1989年夏に完了し、国立天文台野辺山宇宙電波観測所に設置して同所のVLBI記録装置につないで観測を開始した。郵政省通信総合研究所関東支所(茨城県鹿島町)の26mアンテナとの間で、9月21日の第一回試験観測で相関検出に成功し、10月12日には3cmを切る精度で基線長決定に成功した。その後、当初の目標通り、地球回転VLBI太平洋観測網(IRIS-P)による月一回の国際観測を実施している。これにより、小口径アンテナでのVLBI位置計測の可能性を実証すると共に、天体電波のアナログ中間周波数信号の光ファイバ-ケ-ブルによる高位相安定伝送技術を確立した。同アンテナは、4素子法相対VLBI実験やパルサ-の群遅延時間観測に使われる予定である。 2.天体メ-ザ-源のVLBI観測野辺山の45mミリ波望遠鏡と鹿島の34mアンテナとの間で、43GHz帯におけるミリ波VLBI実験を行い、1989年10月及び12月の観測で晩期型星周辺及び星形成領域における一酸化ケイ素メ-ザ-源の相関検出に成功し、天体メ-ザ-源による位置天文計測の展望をひらいた。 3.K-4型VLBI相関処理装置の開発新しいK-4型VLBIシステムに立脚して宇宙空間VLBI(VSOP)や計画中のVERA(地球回転・基準座標系用VLBI)のデ-タを処理するための大型汎用相関処理装置と、小規模の研究・実験的観測の処理をめざす小型相関処理装置の設計方針を固め、開発に着手した。
