Research Abstract

1.各種クロロフィル類とその一連の変性物、誘導体等を迅速・高感度。高分解能で分離できる高速液体クロマトグラフィ-の条件を確立した。それによりクロロフィルとその誘導体の変性の速度定数を各種条件下で定量的に測定した。エチレン処理て誘発されるクロロフィルa分解がフェオフォルバイドaを経由して行われることを証明した。光合成細菌におけるクロロフィル生合成の光条件の検討とアミノレブリン酸合成酵素の抽出・鈍化を行った。
2.光化学系I反応中心での光失活部位が好気条件下ではFe-Sセンタ-、嫌気条件下ではA_0とA_2の間であることが明らかにした。光化学系II反応中心で光損傷をうけ易いD1タンパク質の簡易単離法を確立し、光失活で損傷をうけるアミノ酸残基を明らかにしつつあるが、現在失活初期ではペプチド結合の切断は起こらないことを明らかにしている。さらに、光化学系II反応中心の修復に関与するD1タンパク質のプロセシング酵素を抽出・鈍化し、その性質を調べた。
3.光損傷の回避に関与するアスコルビン酸ペルオキシダ-ゼの分子的性質を明らかにし、自殺基質となる化合物を見いだした。さらに他の光損傷回避機構である光条件に対応するエネルギ-変換系の構成の調節の誘発信号がチトクロ-ムb_6-f複合体の電子状態であることを示すことを明らかにした。
