| Research Abstract |
本年度に実施した研究結果を以下に記す。豊田・大内は植物の培養細胞系を利用した体細胞変異選抜を行い、青枯病抵抗性トマトおよびTMV抵抗性タバコの育成に成功した。これらの結果は、Plant Cell Reports誌(1989年)に発表された。後藤は、青枯病菌を宿主とするバクテリオファ-ジを解析し、その核酸構造を電子顕微鏡および酵素化学的に明らかにした。結果は、J.Phytopathology誌に投稿中である。内海は植物萎凋毒素であるフザリン酸の無毒化遺伝子を単離し、その塩基配列を決定した。得られた結果については、本年度の日本農芸化学会大会で発表する。深溝は、トマト萎凋病菌の細胞壁構造を固形NMRで解析し、キチンおよびキトサンの存在様式を明らかにした。また、キチナ-ゼおよびキトサナ-ゼによる酵素分解様式を明らかにし、生物防除法への応用を検討した。結果は日本農芸化学会誌に投稿予定である。榎は、木材腐朽と菌類の関係を解析し、特にHO生産が及ぼす影響を明らかにし、得られた結果をWood Scl.Techol誌(1989年)に掲載した。重岡は、うどんこ病菌感染オオムギにおける宿主遺伝子発現を解析する目的で、感染後の種々の過程でmRNAを調整し、それらからcDNAを合成して、本研究の基礎的条件を確立した。吉田は、種々の植物からプロトプラストを調整する条件を検討し、細胞離合体の培養法を検討した。松田は、病害病虫害防除の立場から有効成分の開発を試み、本年度は青枯病細菌に強い抗菌活性を示す物質を分離し、その化学構造を決定した。結果は、本年度日本農芸化学会大会で発表する。以上の結果をもとに、大内は本年度の結果を総括し、次年度研究計画を策定した。
