| Research Abstract |
The present study was undertaken to develop a database system for dental health in the Tokai area.
Seventy one indices from each city, town and village in Aichi Prefecture were obtained from several annual reports in 1984, 1985 & 1986. Seven dental indices including the rate of dental caries experience and the dmft index for 1.6 and 3 year old children were analyzed by using a multivariate analysis and principle component analysis.
It was concluded that it was necessary to establish some database system for the dental health activity in Tokai area. More study was needed to confirm this conclusion.
