Research Abstract	本研究は、計画研究6班の総括班として、以下の活動を行った。1.総括班会議は平成元年8月と平成2年1月の2回東京で開催し、運営に関する諸問題を審議した。2.各計画研究班の最も著名な成果を中心に平成2年1月17日に東京でシンポジウムを開催し、約140名の参加を得て好評であった。3.本重点領域研究の包含する広範な分野を相互に紹介し理解と交流を深める目的で、班員の和文総説の別刷を選んで集録し、複写製本して班員に配布した。4.計画研究6班の班間にまたがる交流を促進するため、班間共同研究を公募し、有意義と認められた4件を財政的に支援した。5.研究費の追加配分を受けたので、顕著な業績を挙げつつあり、かつ研究費不足に悩んでいる班員を公募の上、各班から精選された者に対して財政的に支援した。6.総括班員の創意により、長期的展望の下に、各計画研究班では実行の困難ないくつかの試行錯誤的研究を行った。(1)葛西は筋小胞体の全てのイオンチャンネルを同定する方法、T管膜のDHP結合蛋白質と小胞体膜のリアノジン結合蛋白質の相互作用を調べる方法などの確立に務めた。(2)香川は膜のエネルギー変換の制御に注目し、短期的にはATP合成酵素のATP依存H^+電流が膜電位によってKmの変化なしにVmaxを変ること、長期的にはホスホリパーゼC合成の制御を明らかにした。(3)藤原は劣悪環境下の情報伝達系の変化の解明を目指し、低酸素下にPI代謝回転系の感受性が増大することを見出した。(4)三品は情報伝達機構の多様性に焦点を当て、ムスカリン性アセチルコリン受容体のサブタイプIとIIの差は疎水性領域VとVIの間の領域と効果器との共役の差であることを明らかにした。(5)遠藤は生きた細胞における蛋白間相互作用の実証を目的として、筋細胞のT管膜蛋白と小胞体膜蛋白との間の連関を題材に、生きた細胞内での蛋白間架橋を試みつつある。
