Research Abstract	1.βーカルボリン類の合成:ユ-ディストミン関連化合物の合成を行った。マンザミンCの効率的合成法を確立し、関連化合物の合成に応用した。マンザミンAの脂環部のABC環を高圧DielsーAlder反応により合成した。これら関連化合物40種を渡辺グル-プに提供した。2.スフインゴ脂質の合成:海洋産セラミドであるシンビオラミドおよびコサスフィンガジエニン系セラミドのキラル合成を達成した。3.向中枢神経作用成分の探索:モノアミン酸化酵素(MAO)に対してin vitroで強い活性を示した子のう菌代謝産物NSAおよびTLー1のin vivoでの活性を検討した。NSAのエステル、エ-テル誘導体およびTLー1の腹腔内投与によるレセルピンとの拮抗作用は見られなかったが、投与後の肝、脳MAO活性に阻害傾向がみられ、TLー1では有意な阻害活性が認められた。In vitroとin vivoの活性の差は血清蛋白との結合によるものであることを明らかにした。またマウス脳P_2画分を用いてのグルタミン酸受容体への結合の有無を指標として菌類生薬エキスの成分検索も行ったが共存成分の作用の問題が大きいことが判った。4.脳機能改善作用を指向した薬理活性評価:(1)βーカルボリン誘導体:a)脳血流改善作用を指向して、ラット大動脈摘出標本における血管平滑筋への作用を検討し、9種に弛緩作用が確認された。b)胆のう標本を用いての検討により1種にCCKー8の作用増強が、4種に拮抗が認められた。c)アセチルコリン作用の増強を腸管平滑筋で検討し1種に活性を検出した。(2)記憶・学習に密接な関連を持つ脳グルタミン酸受容体の活性薬および拮抗薬は胃機能の抑制および刺激をおこすことが判明した。この成果は本研究の重要な基礎を与えるものである。(3)内因性ステロイドの脳内投与がGABA_A受容体への作用を介して胃酸分泌を刺激することが判明した。本結果は脳機能改善作用との関連において重要な知見である。
