| Research Abstract |
本研究は、サケ科魚類およびウナギの回遊に関与する内分泌系の作用機序に関し、分子レベルでの研究を進めているわが国の研究者とフランス国立農林水産研究所(INRA)の研究者間の共同研究および研究連絡を、より密にするために組織されたものである。
本年度は、平成2年9月に、研究分担当である石居と菊山が渡仏し、レンヌにおいてINRAのPrunet博士、さらにレンヌ大学のValotaire教授らと今後の共同研究に関し打ち合せを行った。石居はまたパリ大学のFontaine教授を訪れ、生殖腺刺激ホルモンの受容体の研究手法に関する情報交換を行った。菊山もやはりFontaine研究室のde Luze博士およびカメリ-ノ大学のPalzonetti教授と甲状腺ホルモンと初期発生に関する情報交換を行った。両者はまた、ル-ベン大学において開催された第15回欧州比較内分泌学会にも出席し、フランスに限らず広く欧州各国の研究者と交流し、多くの有益な情報を得ている
。平成2年11月には、Valotaire教授の研究室からDucouret博士が来日し、約4週間にわたり東京大学海洋研究所に滞在し、平野および浦野とともにサケ科魚類の副腎皮質ホルモンの受容体に関し共同実験を行った。この間に海洋研究所大槌臨海研究センタ-に赴き、産卵のため母川に回帰したシロサケの鰓、腸、腎臓などの浸透圧調節器官を採取し、サケのコルチソル受容体のcDNAプロ-ブを用いて、受容体の発現に関し、興味ある知見を得ている。
平野は、Prunet博士および、やはりINRAのLe Bail博士らと密接に連絡をとりながら、ニジマスおよびウナギの成長ホルモンとプロラクチンの受容体の動態に関する研究を進めており、特に成長ホルモン受容体の性質および代謝回転に関する研究が大いに進展している。
