Research Abstract

1.物質の圧力誘起生成過程の解析と制御:炭素の二つの新高圧相の存在を確認し、六方晶ダイヤモンドへの中間相については構造モデルをつくり、X線回折を試みている。中間相が透明であることも示した。またダイヤモンド単結晶の育成環境に由来する不純物の定量分析を初めて実現し、機能性材料としての高純度ダイヤモンド育成の可能性とその方法を明らかにした。迅速時分割顕微ラマン分光装置が設置され、これを用いたプロセス解析を次年度勢力的に行う。(若槻、八木) 2.非平衡磁性薄膜の構造制御と評価:Cu基板上にfccーFe、bccーFe及びfccーFe/Cu多層膜を作製する条件を明らかにした。これらは通常と異なる格子定数の非平衡薄膜で、強磁性を示し、磁気モ-メント、Tc等の膜厚依存性を明らかにし、また垂直磁化膜も実現した。今後はNi、Co、Mnへの拡張、磁気素子への応用を進める。(松井) 3.ガス圧燃焼法による新機能セラミックス複合体の作製:Nb原材を燃焼材に埋め、またはTi原材に燃焼材を塗布し、原材と同形状の窒化物とするプロセスを確立した。窒化深さの制御等を行い、短時間で高性能の窒化物素材を得るプロセスであることを示した。(宮本) 4.プラズマプロセスによる有機ー金属多相系高分子薄膜の界面と機能:RF及びマイクロ波プラズマで、バナジウム含有有機化合物を重合した。プラズマ条件(エネルギ-)により、重合膜の色調と電気伝導度を(10^<ー6>〜10^<+2>S/cm)を制御し、その機構を考察した。(長田) 5.表面光化学反応の解析と光化学反応による機能性表面の作製:FTIRによる偏光変調・高感度反射赤外分光装置を作製、COの一層吸着層の測定可能性を実証した。一方、Al^2O^3、SiO_2、TiO_2の表面に吸着した鉄カルボニルの光化学反応を詳細に調べ、2量体、3量体、ヒドリド等の生成、半導体性下地による顕著な反応も見出した。(佐藤)
