| Research Abstract |
本研究組織は、下部組織として計画委員会を設け、以下の計画を立案運営し、研究組織の成果を総括した。(1)総括班会議:平成元年度第2回会議で承認された計画に基づき研究組織等の運営を行った。11月16日(東京ガ-デンパレス)の会議では、班員の交代、公募による一般研究班員の参加、文部省による「重点領域研究」研究領域代表者連絡会(7月23日)、研究費追加配分と交付申請、合同班会議(11月16日)、公開シンポジウム(11月17日)、他重点領域と合同の「大学と科学」公開シンポジウム(平成3年1月11日〜12日)の準備状況等につき報告がなされ、議事として、平成3年度に計画される研究成果概要集および研究成果報告書の作成計画についての討議がおこなわれ、3年間の本重点領域研究の成果の評価が行われた。(2)計画委員会:本年度は計5回の会議を開き、下記の会合を計画し、総括班の議を経て運営した。計4回News Letterを発行した。(3)合同班会議:本年度も4研究班全員のポスタ-による班会議を11月16日東京ガ-デンパレスで開催し、所期の成果をあげた。(4)公開シンポジウム:11月17日上智大学図書館講堂で、本重点領域研究の成果を問う可く、花岡和則、畠中寛、高坂新一,川村光毅,東田陽博、杉山博之、加藤兼房の7班員によって、又招待演者として江口吾朗教授による講演が行われ且つ活発な討議がなされた。(5)ワ-クショップ:7月30日〜8月1日、富士研修所でメアリ・ハッテン(コロンビア大)、デニス・オレアリ(ワシントン大)両博士を含む13人の演者と約100人の参加者により連日活発な討論が展開された。本領域の将来の発展に重要な貢献をしたと考える。(6)「大学と科学」公開シンポジウム「脳と老化」(平成3年1月11日、12日;有楽町朝日ホ-ル):本研究領域から、演者として畠中寛(神経成長因子と脳の老化)と高坂新一(神経組織の脳内移植)が参加した。聴衆堂に溢れ活発な質疑が行われた。
