Research Abstract	地球共生系:生物の多積共存を促進する相互作用機構を重点領域研究として平成3年度から発足させるために以下の活動を行なった。共同研究を容易にするために,ニュ-ス・レタ-を頻繁に出し,また数理生物学,化学生態学といったそれぞれの分野についての入門的な研究会を開くことにした。研究項目は次の3つである。 A01 消化・細胞内共生系を用いた共生の発達機構 A02 種間間接作用機構の操作実験による解析 A03 生物群集における種間関係の可塑性と多種共存 1.研究課題と組織の検討 10月12ー14日に第1回研究打合せ会を開いて,「計画研究」における研究項目,各研究項目の下での具体的な研究内容,研究組織,予算について検討し,各分担者の研究内容について討議した。また公募研究として期待される内容についても検討した。本研究を特徴づけるのは異分野の研究者による共同研究である。 2.ニュ-ス・レタ-第1号の発行ニュ-ス・レタ-“Communication地球共生系No1"を発行して,研究交流に役立てた。これは今後のニュ-ス・レタ-のモデルとなるものであるのでその内容については各種の工夫をこらした。 3.成果報告書の刊行来年度以降に分担者が研究する内容と,各分担者が最近書いた論文のうち重点領域研究に直接関係するものをも含めた報告書を作成し,交流研究をはかる助けとした。
