Research Abstract	本年度は、分散オペレ-ティングシステムXEROの中心的な機能を提供する次の4点の設計と実現を行なった。 1.動的マルチスレッド機構当初計画していた「動的マルチスレッド」の概念を洗練し、動的マルチスレッドをコンテキストとスレッドという2つの概念に分割することにした。これにより、分散システム情報の情報管理を、永続性まで含んで統一的に扱うことが可能になった。これを含むXERO全体の設計は情報処理学会欧文誌(Journal of Information Processing)に掲載予定である。また、マルチスレッド実現を、カ-ネルとユ-ザレベルのモジュ-ルの協調により高速に行なうという新たな方式を開発した。この方式は、IEEE COMPSAC'91で発表した。 2.遠隔手続き呼び出しによるスレッド間通信機構異なるアドレス空間上のスレッドの間のスレッド間通信方式として、「高階遠隔手続き呼び出し技術」を開発した。この方式は、従来の遠隔手続き呼び出し技術を系統化し、さらに拡張を加えたものである。この内容は、25th Hawaii Int.Conf.on System Scienceで発表した。 3.永続的オブジェクト管理機構複合オブジェクトの概念に基づいて永続的オブジェクトの管理を行なう方式の設計と実現を行なった。この設計では、永続的オブジェクト「永続キャッシング技術」を用いて、永続的オブジェクトに対するアクセスの高速化を計っている。永続キャッシング技術は、IEEE Transactions on Software Engineeringで発表予定である。 4.タプルスペ-スの概念に基づいた情報管理機構の設計タプルスペ-スの概念を、分散環境上での情報管理に利用した分散共有格納庫(Distributed Shared Repository)を設計し、プロトタイプの設計と実現を行なった。
